Continuous Water Source for Pressure Washers

Does my pressure washer require a continuous water source?

The pump on the pressure washer requires a continuous pressurized water source.

DO NOT run the pump without the water supply connected and turned on. Damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow this instruction will void warranty.
