The revolutionary Tufflex tine shields are designed to allow the tiller/cultivator to adapt as your garden grows. In the Spring, prepare wide open spaces of garden with full width tilling. As plants grow and crowd the rows during the Summer, the Tufflex side shields simply slide off, and outer tines can be removed without any tools for narrow row cultivating.
